Frequently Asked Questions: Patients
Can I order directly through PCHF for my supplements?
PCHF believes that natural medicines provide the greatest benefit when directed by the knowledge and experience of your healthcare professional. For this reason we sell only direct to licensed and certified practitioners for use with their patients. We do not sell products directly to patients.
Why do you only sell to licensed practitioners or healthcare professionals?
We believe that licensed practitioners and/or healthcare professionals are best qualified to make health care choices after careful assessment of your health.
I have a question about the product I was given by my practitioner, who should I ask?
We suggest directing all questions related to our products to the practitioner that provided them to you. Your practitioner knows the most about your personal health history as well as the reasons and methods behind the remedies you have been given and should be able to answer your questions.
How do I take the product I was given by my practitioner?
Standard dosing suggestions are listed on the right side panel of every PCHF product. Please refer to this information and always consult your practitioner with questions related to specific dosing suggestions.
Can I get my products sent directly to me after seeing my doctor?
PCHF provides a drop ship service that allows any practitioner to have products shipped directly to a patient. Please discuss this directly with your doctor's office. All drop ship orders must come directly from the practitioner or practitioner's office; patients cannot order drop shipments through PCHF.
My current practitioner can no longer supply products to me, how can I purchase them in the future?
If you must find a new practitioner, find one that suits your personal health needs. Discuss any products that have worked for you in the past with your new practitioner, who may already carry our line. Otherwise, we suggest that you encourage your new doctor to contact us about establishing an account. We only sell products to licensed healthcare practitioners, so we are not able to sell products to you directly.
I have seen PCHF products for sale on the Internet. If these products are for professional sale only, why are they available online ?
PCHF does not sell its products for retail distribution (please see our
Resale Policy for further details). Unfortunately with the growth and popularity of internet sales, there are times when our products (or products claiming to be ours) can be found in places they are not intended. In such cases, we enforce our resale policy to the best of our ability. For your own safety and security, we do not recommend purchasing products claiming to be Professional Complementary Health Formulas over the internet unless the site is managed by your doctor for re-ordering purposes.
What is a Homeopathic?
Homeopathy is based upon the Law of Similars, which suggests that highly diluted substances will assist the body in alleviating symptoms or effects that are caused by the same or similar substances in their non-diluted states. Since the eighteenth century, homeopathy has been used to stimulate the body to engage its own healing mechanisms in pursuit of restoring homeostasis.
What is an X potency?
Homeopathic remedies are diluted (potentized) and manufactured under very strict and specific guidelines. In the case of an X potency, the remedy is prepared by diluting one part of an original liquid substance in nine parts of a diluting agent (typically purified water and alcohol). The resulting ten parts of diluted mixture is hand-shaken using a technique called succussion, and then repeatedly diluted and succussed again in a similar fashion. A remedy at a 6X potency has been diluted 1:10 six times, meaning that the final product possesses one part of the original substance in one million parts of diluted finished product.
